Wheelchair Accessibility of Zermatt, Switzerland

This analysis of the wheelchair accessibility in and around Zermatt (with views of the Matterhorn) was from our trip in Summer 2022.

We took the train from Milano Centrale to Zermatt, with a connection in Visp. This was an incredible ride–gorgeous trains and amazing countryside.

We then explored around in Zermatt, which is car-free, quaint, and simply breathtaking. We also had dinner at Michelin-rated restaurant (Omnia), and stayed at a hotel with a balcony overlooking the mountains.

Zermatt simply stole our hearts, and we cannot wait to go back.
