Waikiki

This review of the wheelchair accessibility of Waikiki is from 2022 and 2023.
Beautiful Waikiki is as wheelchair accessible as it is gorgeous. There are wide, smooth sidewalks that run along the beach for most of Waikiki, and there are good curb cuts along the route. Additionally, hotel lobbies are open to the public and create beautiful walkways between the blocks as well. There are tons of great restaurants and shops to explore as well. Everything is within 1-2 miles, so there is no need to rent a car or rely or on a taxi to explore around Waikiki. Of course, if you want to save battery power, the city bus or Waikiki Trolley Pink Line are good options.
Because a video is worth a million words, please see my wheelchair point-of-view walk/scoot/wheel around Waikiki. As you will see, the wheelchair accessibility of Waikiki rivals most major cities.
