Wheelchair Accessible Milan as Base of Operations

We explored the wheelchair accessibility of Milan during a trip in Summer 2022.

We spent 4 nights in Milan. We spent a day exploring Milan itself:

• Castello Sforzesco
• Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper
• Duomo di Milano
• Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
• Teatro alla Scala

We also used Milan as a launching point for day trips to Lake Como and Venice. It worked beautifully for both purposes, especially staying at a hotel close to the train station. The public transportation was not as convenient as the Italian train system.
